Uniform Requirements

We like to keep things simple and consistent so everyone feels part of the team in class. Uniform items are available through our friends at Dancers Wardrobe (Shop 4/179 Manukau Road, Epsom). Students are asked to wear:

• Jess Leotard – Ballet Pink

• Emily Skirt – Ballet Pink

• Ballet Socks

• Ballet Shoes

Optional Extras

These items are completely optional but can be lovely for added comfort and warmth:

• Tights

• Cross-over Warm-Up Cardigan – Ballet Pink

First Position Ballet Academy T-Shirt

Our academy t-shirt is a fun extra and a great way to feel part of the school community. It’s not part of the in-class uniform.

• Made from high-quality AS Colour fabric

• Colour: “Charity Pink”

• Available directly through Jess

Boys’ Uniform

Boys are asked to wear:

• Jesse Leotard or Joshua Tee – White

• White Ballet Socks

• White Ballet Shoes

These items are available from The Dancers Wardrobe.

Boys also wear navy ballet shorts. Please contact Jess for more information about boys’ shorts.

Trial Classes

• Any plain-coloured leotard or t-shirt

• Comfortable shorts or a skirt

  Students attending a trial class may participate in bare feet. Please note that socks can be slippery and are not recommended for safety reasons.
